For example, on our Keeppower batteries this is the outer black wrap. Take extreme care not to damage the cell, expose or short the terminals, or remove\/displace any insulating components.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCarefully apply the metallic decal around the battery, ensuring the design remains straight and the coverage is neat and even. We often use the nickel strip running along the battery as a convenient straight reference when applying the decal.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eOnce applied, slide the battery centrally into the supplied clear heatshrink sleeve.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCarefully and gradually apply heat until the clear sleeve has fully shrunk around the battery. We use a temperature-controlled hot-air blower set to approximately 150–200°C, keeping it moving continuously and avoiding prolonged heat in any one area.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eIMPORTANT\u003c\/strong\u003e: Lithium-ion cells can be hazardous if handled, damaged, short-circuited, or heated incorrectly. This product is intended for experienced builders who are comfortable working safely with lithium-ion batteries. Never use a cell that has been punctured, dented, overheated, or otherwise damaged during the wrapping process.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlease Note: Each metallic decal is printed and prepared in-house by KR Sabers. Due to the nature of the printing process, there may occasionally be very minor print imperfections or small variations between individual decals. These are normal and are generally almost impossible to notice once the decal has been applied to the battery and covered with the clear heatshrink sleeve.
