Shipping Policies

Here at The Saber Armory, we try to be as transparent as possible with regard to shipping and delivery time frames.

The majority of orders received are shipped within 1-3 business days (Mon-Fri). Custom orders, kits and limited product runs may take longer and are usually shipped within 3-5 business days. The description will usually state clearly if there is an alternative time frame.

For non-tracked items It is extremely rare for orders to be lost during transit and the success rate is high, however, despite the delivery aims being relatively low, it can take up to 28 business days for the order to arrive. Please understand that once the packages are handed over to the postal service, we, as an online retailer, no longer have control, or are able to provide detailed updates, on the packages progress. 

Please therefore only contact us querying shipping delays via the untracked mail shipping methods after this time has elapsed. We are unable to offer any more assistance until this time has passed. Only after this time has passed can we request Royal Mail to investigate via an online form.

Please also note that, for UK untracked items, in the event of loss, customers are only covered and able to claim the amount of postage paid. The 'Goods' value is not covered. The Saber Armory is not responsible for any loss through Royal Mail and, if you would like added protection to your package, please ensure you choose a tracked shipping method such as First Class Signed For or, DHL Express. By purchasing through our store, you agree to these terms. 

In addition to this, certain order values and products such as those with much longer dimensions and batteries will ship via DHL Express; both for domestic and international destinations. This will usually be specified and explained further in the item description. DHL is usually 1-3 business day delivery to Europe and North America. It can take 3-5 working days for Asia, South America and Australasia. Please note these transit times can be affected by customs processing and unforeseen delays such as weather, scheduled movements, consignee absence etc. DHL has no liability or responsibility for any such delays occured. 

DHL has no liability or responsibility for loss if the recipient requests to have their shipment delivered without obtaining a signature. This is not recommended as it is not possible to claim for any loss or damage in the event a shipment is marked as 'Delivered' after being released without signature. The Saber Armory is not liable for any such case. 

We try to offer accurate shipping prices for DHL, however, there may be very rare occasions where your shipping addresses will fall under a ‘Remote Location’ category with DHL. This unfortunately won’t be discovered until the actual booking is taking place. If this is the case, your order will be put ‘On Hold’ and you will be contacted with the option of paying the remote location charge (currently £17.50 as of June 2022) or simply cancelling the order to receive a full refund.

Please note that The Saber Armory cannot be responsible for any loss, damage or delay during transit. We ensure that all items are properly packed and protected before being handed over. However, we will always do our utmost to assist the buyer if items are delayed, damaged or lost.

It is critically important that for any packages requiring a signature, the package is assessed before signing and accepting delivery. If the package has any significant damage during transit, or appears to contain damaged goods, the recipient should refuse delivery and further action can be taken. It makes it much more difficult to claim if the package is accepted damaged.

You, the buyer, are responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, customs clearance charges, etc. required by your country for importing consumer goods. We do not collect this beforehand, and cannot give you an estimate of the cost – charges vary around the world.

As an international consumer, please do your research to ensure there are no surprise charges when clearing your package through customs, and to have an idea of what the additional cost may be. If you are unfamiliar with customs fees and charges, please speak to your local postal or customs office for more information. It is your full responsibility to verify the customs, duties charges, and procedures in your country prior to placing your order.

If customs fees and charges are refused at the time of delivery, your order will be returned and you will not receive a refund for shipment costs.

Every order also has proof of postage.
